Services

 Direct Cremation includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within Buncombe County, transport to the crematorium, and cremation. This service charge is $1,075 and does not include the purchase of any merchandise and taxes. To add a memorial service held in the chapel of our sister company, Penland Family Funeral Home, with a register book, custom memorial folder, acknowledgement cards, and a memorial book marker is only an additional $395. For clients from adjacent counties an additional $100 will apply.

Traditional Funeral Service Package includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within Buncombe County, embalming, other preparation of the body, use of facility for daytime viewing, use of facility and staff for funeral ceremony, use of staff for committal service, a register book, custom memorial folder, acknowledgement cards, and a memorial book marker, Allen casket, use of artificial casket spray, use of hearse, use of utility vehicle, tent, chairs, and lowering device is only $7,342.

Graveside Ceremony Package includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within Buncombe County, other preparation of the body, use of staff for committal service, a register book, custom memorial folder, acknowledgement cards, and a memorial book marker, Allen casket, use of artificial casket spray, use of hearse, use of utility vehicle, tent, chairs, and lowering device is only $5,777.

Rental Casket and Funeral Service Package includes the basic services of a funeral director, additional staff, overhead costs, transfer of remains within Buncombe County, other preparation of the body, embalming, use of facilities for viewing (day), use of facilities and staff for funeral ceremony, memorial package; casket insert; Cherry Serenity Urn; and cremation is only $5,280.
